A note to viewers of this page: There are many scenic and colorful images throughout the 10 parts. The harvest moon images are on Part 4. The golden aspen images are on Parts 3 & 4 (Colorado Plateau). These were taken mostly around Pinetop and the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests. Part 5 shows burned slopes from the 2011 Wallow Fire that were carpeted with bright red fetid goosefoot (Dysphania graveolens), a native annual in the goosefoot family (Chenopodiaceae) that also grows in Central & South America!
